KNAPP-Moving was awarded the big logistics and transport price

On 4th of May, three of the winners of this year's Major Logistics & Transport award were announced at the Gothenburg trade fair Logistik & Transport. In the category “Materials handling solution of the year” KNAPP-Moving was awarded for their efforts at the central warehouse at Clas Ohlson.

According to the newspaper “Transport idag” who also hosted the price ceremony, anyone can buy 15 000 articles, but when it comes to storing and distributing them Clas Ohlson has a competitive advantage through a highly automated distribution center. In addition, the new pallet high bay at Clas Ohlson is the the highest high-bay warehouse and the first clad rack in Sweden.

2004 the first part of the DC was in the operation and since then Clas Ohlson has continued its strong expansion and the degree of automation in the DC has gradually increased. Common to all projects at the DC of Clas Ohlson is a strong focus on ergonomics and safety. Within this area, KNAPP-Moving are experts with a range of other projects and satisfied customers as references.
